Mother-To-Be Rachel Zoe’s New Clothing Line!

It has been quite the season for the petite blonde once known solely as a (very well-paid) celebrity stylist.  As we anxiously await Season 4 of The Rachel Zoe Project,  hard-working Rachel and husband Rodger Berman are making preparations for the birth of their first baby boy.

Rachel Zoe Rodger Berman

The petite powerhouse disguised her fashionable bump until November, when she announced her pregnancy via Twitter

It was the style guru herself who accidentally revealed her baby’s sex during a now-famous interview with Womens Wear Daily.   Zoe, who is 7 months expecting, gave the fashion press a first look her new contemporary clothing line during a private event at a loft in downtown New York.

The collection consisting of menswear-type suits (above), elaborate leather capes and all kinds of dresses,  is inspired by Rachel’s favorite looks (including all-white outfits) and designers she typically wears, such as Halston.

Rachel Zoe copied black white vintage dress

The copied vintage dress Rachel created her own version of the black-and-white creation she used in a magazine shoot (and owns, above) in 2008.

Falling into the contemporary price range, fans of the line  should expect to pay over $200 for a short dress and $700 for a suit look.  While it isn’t confirmed which stores will actually carry the line, its designer told WWD that she would like to see it hanging near “it” labels like Alexander Wang. She also continues to design the Rachel Zoe line of fairly-priced accessories and faux fur looks for shopping network QVC.
